Page Automation exhibited SmartSlip at the South Africa Payroll Association (SAPA) Conference which was held in Cape Town at the Fire & Ice Protea Hotel on 29th July, Durban at the SunCoast Casino on 30th July and in Johannesburg at Emperors Palace on 6 & 7 August. The theme of this annual prestigious event was ‘The changing face of Payroll’. This event attracts payroll professionals from companies affiliated with SAPA and is the vehicle to showcase the SAPA Awards which honours the leading payroll professionals in the industry.
The conference was the perfect platform to meet HR executives and demonstrate SmartSlip to these decision makers that are looking for new HR and payroll technologies.
Each of the exhibiting companies was given a few minutes to introduce themselves to the delegates prior to the conference. We were pleased with the opportunity to introduce Page Automation and to give an overview of the SmartSlip product. During the breaks the delegates had the opportunity to network and visit the exhibitor’s tables.
The delegates were interested to see how SmartSlip enables the delivery of payslips via text message, online or at a Kiosk, eliminating the need for expensive traditional paper based payslips, as well as saving the payroll administrator a lot of time issuing and delivery payslips to employers based at various branches or sites.
The South African Payroll Association (SAPA) represents the payroll profession with legislative bodies in South Africa. The Association is managed by an Executive Committee, comprising industry representatives and specialists, and is affiliated to other professional payroll associations worldwide, who share a common goal: to promote excellence in the payroll profession.
